Cooperation negotiations at Fortum's Inkoo power plant finalised
The cooperation negotiations initiated on 11 May 2009 concerning personnel
reductions at Fortum's Inkoo power plant in Finland have been finalised. As a
result, 8 employees will be made redundant.
The negotiations involved a reduction of maximum 60 positions at the Inkoo power
plant. During the process, a retirement solution or a new position in Fortum
could be found for majority of the employees under redundancy threat.
The cooperation negotiations were initiated as Fortum is transferring two units
out of four at the Inkoo power plant to extended start-up readiness resulting in
a reduced need of personnel.
