High-speed balancing of generator rotors

Newly built, repaired or renovated rotors require dynamic balancing to ensure a safe and reliable operation. Balancing minimises the vibration transmitted from the rotor to its bearings, the stator and other surrounding equipment, thereby increasing the lifetime, reliability and efficiency of the rotating machinery.
