The history of cooperation between Fortum and Lenarcik Meat Processing Plant shows how important not only a good offer but also professional communication and quality of service play in the cooperation of companies.

Lenarcik Meat Processing Plant - 3 decades of tradition and quality

Lenarcik Meat Processing Plant is a company with a 30-year history that produces about 150 - 160 tons of meat products per month. The company supplies its products to chains such as Biedronka and runs 54 company stores. The company offers premium products, which is why it focuses on the highest quality raw materials – in its production it mainly uses meat obtained from its own cuttings.

A Communication-Based Partnership

Due to the intensive production process, which requires large amounts of energy, the company was looking for ways to optimize the costs associated with its consumption.

"The main energy consumer is our plant. In addition, company stores also generate significant energy demand," says President of the Management Board Robert Szpara.

The first contact with Fortum took place 1.5 years ago, when the company began looking for an alternative energy supplier. Despite talks with several companies, it was Fortum's offer, both in terms of price and quality of service, that convinced the company's management to sign a long-term contract.

"Fortum's offer was as advantageous as what other suppliers offered us. However, contact with the representative, who was very quick and professional, prevailed. We immediately received an answer to our needs," emphasizes Robert Szpara.

Flexible approach to changing market conditions

Companies such as Lenarcik Meat Processing Plant, which are engaged in large-scale production, must be ready for changes in energy costs. For this reason, cooperation with Fortum allows them to take a flexible approach to changing market conditions. The key element of such cooperation is the already emphasized good communication between the company and the energy supplier.

"Everyone should be a professional in their own field," notes President Robert Szpara.

We have the same approach at Fortum. We are energy specialists and we allow our clients to focus on what is most important to them, i.e. running their own business.

Lenarcik Meat Processing Plant, as well as other companies cooperating with Fortum in the field of electricity and gas supply, can count on access to the ClickPrice purchasing portal (accessible in Poland), which allows for better forecasting of energy expenses in the future, management of energy purchases or control of electricity and gas consumption. In addition, they can also count on the support of Fortum's team of analysts and sales advisors.
