The Government of the Stavropol Krai in Russia, and Fortum-RUSNANO wind investment fund have entered into a non-binding cooperation agreement to build up to 500 MW of wind power plants in 2018–2022. A separate investment decision will be made for each project.
The Fortum-RUSNANO wind investment fund is a 50/50-owned investment partnership. Following the results of competitive selections of RES investment projects, the Fund won the right to build nearly 2 GW of wind power facilities. Wind farms are to be commissioned in 2019–2023.
