During the four and a half months, I've been able to leverage my academic background to make meaningful contributions. I started as an intern in mid-April, and in my second week, I had the opportunity to participate in our team's two-day planning meeting at the Solna office in Sweden. However, Mother Nature threw a wrench in the works with a snowstorm, and I ended up enjoying an additional nine hours at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. This delay made my first business trip memorable.
Over the summer, my role has been varied. I managed the meeting room and printing services, led the end user communication within Windows 11 project, and much more! With our System Managers on their well-deserved holidays, I had the chance to take on more responsibility. This included creating internal documentation and communication protocols.
The essence of our team's success lies in collaboration with diverse stakeholders and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable workflow. My involvement in the Windows 11 project has been particularly focused on developing clear and effective end-user communications.
As the summer comes to an end, I am grateful for the opportunity to continue my professional development at Fortum as a Service Specialist Trainee. I look forward to gaining a deeper understanding of our services and developing my expertise in the field.
