We set ambitious targets, where relevant, and measure our sustainability performance. We report on our progress as part of our annual reporting activities. We nurture a culture of continuous improvement and learning and alignment with best practices.

We comply with regulations and act with due diligence and aim to prevent, mitigate, and remediate any actual and potential impacts related to our material sustainability topics as well as address related risks and pursue opportunities.

Our employees are the drivers of change to reach our purpose. Our culture is diverse and inclusive, and we take care of everyone’s wellbeing.

We conduct business with viable companies that act responsibly and follow the principles set out in the Fortum Supplier Code of Conduct. We assess sustainability performance when selecting suppliers, contractors and business partners and seek to collaborate with our business partners to mitigate adverse impacts on environment, human rights or local communities.

We engage with stakeholders in active dialogue and continuously measure our reputation and customer satisfaction. We strive for active collaboration with local communities in our operating countries and around our plants. We communicate transparently in a timely manner.
